Cereal4all Flies Oatmeal Airlift to Renewal Program in Grand Bahama Island, Bahamas

Cereal4all carried out another successful Oatmeal Airlift to the Bahamas, this time to the crystal blue shores of Grand Bahama Island. We flew over one thousand packets of protein-rich Quaker Instant Oatmeal to island residents facing food insecurity. We also presented a donation check to Collab, a government-run renewal program created by the Hon. Ginger M. Moxey, Minister for Grand Bahama.

1 in 3 people in the Bahamas face some level of food insecurity. Recent hurricanes and the pandemic have intensified the problem for the nation’s most vulnerable. We’re proud to be able to lend a hand to our friends in the Caribbean.

The Oatmeal Airlift was only possible thanks to some very special partners:

The Buddy Hield Foundation Buddy plays for the Philadelphia 76ers in the NBA. He’s an awesome guy who was born in Grand Bahama and never stops caring about the people there. We’ll be rooting for him all season long, unless the 76ers are playing our Miami Heat. Then Buddy is on his own:)

First Watch You know them for their delicious breakfasts and lunches, but did you know First Watch also cares deeply about helping local communities? You can feel good eating at First Watch because they do a lot of good for others.

Ken Morgenbesser of K & A Aviation  We consider him Cereal4all’s Chief Flight Instructor. Ken is an amazing pilot who teaches us to fly and cares about helping people as much as we do. Without Ken, there would be no Oatmeal Airlifts.

The Ministry for Grand Bahama Minister Moxey, Chevonia McBride, Jacquie Rolle and everyone at Collab! Thank you for teaming up with Cereal4all and inspiring us with your historic work. We can’t wait to visit beautiful Freeport and Grand Bahama again!
