Cereal4all has partnered with Kenya-based Community Alliance for Hope (CAH) to provide food relief to orphans and widows in western rural areas of the country.
CAH is engaged in foster care for orphans affected by HIV/AIDS, rehabilitated street boys, and girls rescued from forced marriages, giving the children a family atmosphere with a loving and safe environment.
The organization also runs a Widow Empowerment Program. Widows in rural parts of Kenya are sometimes neglected and pushed into extreme poverty and vulnerability. CAH works to give the widows fuller and free lives.
Cereal4all is grateful for the opportunity to provide breakfast food ingredients like flour, cornmeal, sugar, and cooking oil so the orphans and widows can have greater access to daily meals.
