Cereal4all was thrilled to collaborate with the impressive students in National Honor Society at Akins Early College High School in Austin, TX.
The Akins NHS cereal drive was spearheaded by student Rachel Croom. All the cereal collected during the drive was donated to the Central Texas Food Bank, a truly inspiring hunger-relief organization that served over 54 million meals last year to Texans facing serious hunger issues.
At food banks across America, there is record-breaking need for hunger relief for families struggling with food insecurity and hunger. Breakfast food is in short supply at food banks, so it’s always meaningful when a club like the NHS at Akins helps provide breakfast & happiness to those who need it most.
