It was an honor teaming up with one of South Florida’s greatest mural artists, Ktano, for this special project at the Boca Helping Hands food bank in Palm Beach County.
The mural was painted in the food bank’s Backpacks Program room. It’s where volunteers pack meals for food-insecure children so they have enough to eat at home on the weekends when they can’t depend on school meals.
The work Boca Helping Hands does to assist kids & families facing tough times has been inspiring us to be better people since we began volunteering there when we were 7. Packing food donations in their warehouse and learning about the fight against hunger from their staff was instrumental in us deciding to create Cereal4all.
The mural is Cereal4all’s way of showing our deep gratitude to Boca Helping Hands for all the happiness they’ve given our community over the years, and for the monumental impact they’ve had on our own lives.
